something i find incomprehensible is why the referral system to arrive at umpiring decsions is not
being tried out in a big way in cricket.it was tried in a few matches and there was a lot of harping going about that it was far from perfect.These guys would gladly accept any number of human errors but a few errors due to machine assisted decisions was an absolute no no.what convoluted thinking.A great opportunity was there to try it in IPl 3 and in the T20 cup in west indies.Referrals will not only result in more correct decisions but will make the game more watchable especially on TV since decisions by the 3rd umpire on slomo replays brings in an element of suspense.
